Tignes Snow Report: 17th February 2014

Thanks to Andreas Bjorklund from Alpine Experience for these photos from what looks like one of the best days of the season.

After all the heavy snowfall over the weekend the skies cleared this morning and it was one of the best days of the winter so far. The sun shone all day and although lower down this did make things warmer than you would expect for February up on the higher ground the snow was light and fresh and deep.

The next few days look like they will be a little over cast but ther is a little more snow on the way before the sun comes back out on Thursday. If the week ends like it started half term 2014 will go down as one of the best holidays in a while.
